Over the last few months, we have been providing package artwork for Bakugan, the leading CCG (Collectible Card Game) brand in the market today. Bakugan leads Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft, and Chaotic. We have provided artwork in no less than 10 products in such a short span of time. Storm Hawks Comic Special - Rounding Third!

We're going to press with the Storm Hawks Comic Book Special, and there are a host of creators that have contributed to this amazing body of work.

- The cover is a collaboration between Andy Poon (Storm Hawks Art Director), myself and DMF colorist Peter Kostka.
-Peter, Jason Park of DMF Comics and myself have worked on the short stories - Phoenix Crystal, Origins, and reworked The Escape (originally by creator Asaph Fipke and Andy Poon).
- Contributing artists to our ALL STAR pinup gallery include: Randy Green (X-Men, Witchblade), Marcus To (Fathom, Black Panther), Mike Kunkel (Hero Bear and the Kid), Sean 'Cheeks' Galloway (Teen Titans Go!), Marcio Takara (The Incredibles), Sanford Greene (Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man), Rob Ruffolo (Transformers), Jim Su (Bakugan, Crozonia), J. Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo SOLD OUT!

Just wanted to thank the organizers of the Calgary Expo for a superbly run convention! Gavin and I were treated really well. I recommend all artists and fans make plans for the Calgary Expo next year! We shipped 5 boxes of The Art of ReBoot and sold out on Sunday afternoon with a couple hours remaining. All of the ReBoot posters were sold out as well. ReBoot is alive and well in fandom. Hope Rainmaker notices. The Storm Hawks ashcans were sold out, and Crozonia #2 and #3 were sold out! I brought home just two remaining copies of Crozonia #1!
One of the best shows I have ever attended. AND got killer sketches from Sergio Aragones, Mike Kunkel and Bryan Lee O' Malley. Go Canada, and go Calgary!

ReBoot Reunion at Anime Evolution

There is going to be a super cool ReBoot event in Vancouver this summer!
Anime Evolution, is being held at the brand new Vancouver Convention Centre, June 12-14 2009.
ReBoot Co-Creator Gavin Blair will be the headline guest. Other guests confirmed guests include Michael Benyaer (voice actor for original Bob) and Gary Chalk (voice actor for Turbo and Slash). There are more ReBoot related guests to be announced! Stay Tuned.

Storm Hawks Special

We're planning to produce a 48 page (tentative page count) Storm Hawks special that will come out this summer! Included will be a 10 page Origins adapation, 15 page Phoenix Crystal story, and a reformat of The Escape. There will be pinups galore, from myself, DMF Artist Jaime Antonio, Randy Green (Witchblade, X-Men), Sean 'Cheeks' Galloway (the art director of Hell Boy Animated series, Spectacular Spider Man Animated series, Marcio Takara (The Incredibles), Sanford Greene (Marvel Adventures Spider Man). Andy Poon, the art director of Storm Hawks will be drawing the cover!

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo is coming up fast! We will be selling a limited Calgary edition Storm Hawks Ashcan! Almost the same as the Toronto AnimeCON edition, but also features a pinup from Marcio Takara (The Incredibles)!

Storm Hawks Ash Can - The first of many....

The Toronto Anime Con edition is on sale this weekend, limited to only 50 and only five bucks! Includes the short stories: The Escape, Phoenix Crystal part 1, and Phoenix Crystal part 2. The Phoenix Crystal part 1 was published in Europe in a magazine called Boy Zone, so this is the first time it is offered in North America. Part 2 has yet to see print overseas, so this is the first time, period!

Crozonia #1 close to SELL OUT!

I was doing an inventory check this weekend in order to ship to Diamond Distributors. After the Diamond shipping, there will be less than 150 copies of Crozonia #1! I have sold around 2800 copies of Crozonia #1. Not bad considering it's an indy book with very little distribution.

I am considering a very limited edition 2nd printing on the color version of Crozonia #1.

Crozonia Diamond Orders

Just got the Diamond orders, and the numbers were quite low. Low enough that Diamond won't be distributing issues 2-4. Rest assured, Crozonia #1 will ship through Diamond on time in April.

The rest of the Crozonia series will be offered through Haven Distributors.
