Storm Hawks Finale US Screening at C2E2!

The big show this weekend is the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2).

On Sunday, there will be a screening for the first time in the US of Cyclonia Rising which the Cartoon Network in the U.S. never got to air.

2009 Convention Photos - Calgary

My booth at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. ReBoot Co-Creator Gavin Blair and super fan Endian were there to keep me company. A great show - I sold out of The Art of ReBoot, Storm Hawks preview ashcans, and all of my Crozonia comic books! WOW!

The Word on the Street done. That's a wrap for 2009!

The Word on the Street happened this past Sunday. A great day (no rain) with great sales, saw familiar faces, and made some new contacts. This event marks the end of a very busy 2009 convention season!

Now I can focus on getting Crozonia finished, production on a new comic book based on an animation series, more Storm Hawks, and lot's of Bakugan artwork. I'll be laying low for the rest of the year, but be prepared for more great Beach CS products and news in 2010!

Whiteout opens this Friday!

Here is another movie that I worked on the past couple of years. Mr. X FX did a lot of the shots in this movie. Some of the shots in this trailer that I was responsible for include: the guy falling from the sky, and the last shot in the trailer of the guy being blown away.

A Storm Hawks Summer

This past summer, I exhibited at Toronto Anime North, Vancouver Anime Evolution, Chicago Comic Con, and soon the mecha of all fandom conventions, Fan Expo Canada! Met and made lot's of Crozonia, Storm Hawks and ReBoot fans! A new experience for me was this past weekend

Chicago Comic Con 2009 Round Up

For the first time in four years, I decided to set up at Preview Night (Thursday). It was incredibly empty. The only busy days in Chicago were Saturday and Sunday. It really looks like this is the end of the world for Wizard's Chicago show. A rival promoter, Reed Expo which is responsible for Mipcom, New York Comic Con and Book Expo America will be holding the first ever C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo). I hate the name of this show, but knowing Reed, it looks like it's going to overtake Wizard's show straight out of the gate. I will be exhibiting there in April 2010.

Crozonia, Storm Hawks and other news

First off, thanks to all of you who showed up to the The Watcher Storm Hawks Signing Event at the Beaches Jazz Fest. We had a great time! Thanks to Jaime Antonio, Marvin Law, Marvin Mariano, Marcio Takara, and Craig Yeung for sparing some of their precious time.

Some news:

- Unfortunately, I will not have Crozonia #4 ready for Fan Expo Canada (August 28-30). Between Storm Hawks production work, more Bakugan Freelance, and buying a house, I just couldn't get it done. I'm going to try to finish it up this year. Thanks to all the fans who have waited patiently for Crozonia #4.

- Storm Hawks / Nerd Corps Entertainment will be at Fan Expo Canada! More info to come shortly.

- I will be at Chicago Comic Con (Formerly Wizard World) August 6-8. I will be selling the Storm Hawks Special Edition, Crozonia, and The Art of ReBoot. I will also be sketching and taking on drawing commissions.

- This week is the deadline for ordering the Storm Hawks Special Edition through Diamond. Please go to your local comic book store and order!

- Beach CS and DMF Comics are working on another comic book to be released tentatively in September. To be revealed soon!
